If you are an employment agency or an employment business (as defined by the Employment Agencies Act 1973 ('the Act')) it is your responsibility to ensure that advertisements you place on Lingojobs.com comply with your obligations under the Act and the various regulations made under the Act together with applicable guidelines. These regulations are currently contained in the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 1976 and (when they come into force) 2001. You agree to comply with the Act and these regulations as they affect the conduct of your business and the advertisements you place on Lingojobs.com.


Use of This Site
By using the Lingojobs.com site and the services available, you are deemed to accept these terms & conditions and any additional terms & conditions, which include services and information, provided by third parties. The site is provided for the sole purpose of assisting individuals in finding employment and giving free career information to assist people in being better informed and prepared for their next job. The site also provides a facility for Employers and Agencies to advertise and view CVs online to recruit or source Candidates. Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of any CVs. We receive them from candidates in good faith that the content is true, in a valid format to be read, and is a text based data document.

All copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the site and the material available on the site belong to Lingojobs.com or its third party suppliers. Use of the site does not give you any proprietary rights in such materials.

Lingojobs.com have the right to refuse any Job or Banner advertisement at its discretion without having to give any reason and may stop any Employer or Agency from using the site. Where any trial has been offered, Lingojobs.com have the right to end it without notice and remove any free credits allocated.


Profile and CV Information
You will be requested for a series of information for us to hold and use on the site. This will contain your name and contact information, categories, email alert categories, your CV, which can be uploaded or created online. Your information, or selected parts of the information, will be made available to be viewed and downloaded, by way of an online search over the Internet, by our Clients. These may be employers, agencies or other organisations, which pay for the service.

IMPORTANT: Your current employer may be either a Client of Lingojobs.com or a Client of one of the Agencies that use the site. Lingojobs.com cannot restrict the Clients or Agencies that access CVs on our database and cannot be held responsible for any eventuality. You can choose to opt in and out of making your information available depending on your employment requirements. Clients will be located in countries from all over the world and especially within the EU.

When you register with Lingojobs.com, you will first register and provide a username and password. You will create your own profile and upload your CV and we will store the information on our databases. You can update or delete any of the information at any time. It is your responsibility to ensure that your CV and contact details are kept up to date. It is your responsibility to ensure the information in their CV is accurate, truthful and portray a correct record of employment history You should update your CV ideally every 3 months but particularly if your contact details have changed. We have the right that if we do not have a positive response to a series of emails, we will remove your information from the database.

Lingojobs.com Services

Services and information provided on the site by us and/or our third party suppliers are intended to assist in the recruitment process. Neither we, nor our third party suppliers can guarantee their suitability or prospects of success in any particular case. You should obtain independent verification before relying on information provided on this site.

Advertising Material
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on Lingojobs.com complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Lingojobs.com will not take responsibility for any error, omission or inaccuracy in advertising material.

Termination
We may terminate your registration or deny you access to the site or any part of it (including any services, goods or information available on or through the site) at any time in our absolute discretion and without any explanation or notification.

Passwords
Passwords are for the sole use of the person to whom they are issued. We may deny access to a password if we reasonably believe that an unauthorised person is using it or that the user is breaching these terms and conditions.

Site availability
We use our best efforts to ensure that the candidate database / job posting service is accessible on Lingojobs.com via the world wide web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, at times the site or search facility may be partially or completely unavailable due to technical faults or reasons beyond our control such as failures by third party service providers or risk of virus attack. We will deal with these situations as quickly as possible, but you agree that we shall have no financial liability to you in the event of such unavailability.

Lingojobs.com contains links to external sites. Lingojobs.com is not responsible for and has no control over the content of such sites. Information on Lingojobs.com, or available via hypertext link from Lingojobs.com, is made available without responsibility on the part of Lingojobs.com. Lingojobs.com disclaims all responsibility and liability (including for negligence) in relation to information on or accessible from Lingojobs.com.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall decide all disputes. Some services offered through this website may not be permitted in certain countries outside the United Kingdom. we do not accept any liability for any losses suffered by you in using this website which you would not have suffered had you been accessing this website from the UK.
